2009 White Cane Days

Starting on Friday April 24th and going through the first week of May, you'll be seeing signs of our annual fundraising drive known as White Cane Days.

Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th members of the Vassar Lions Club will be stationed outside of Central Shoprite on M-15 accepting donations from the public.  Each year we are given permission by Central Shoprite to use the area near their store entrance for this purpose and we are very appreciative for that.

Also, again this year, you will notice several local restaurants "selling" our White Cane Days tags.  Feel free to make a donation and write your name on a tag to be displayed in the restaurant showing your support of the Vassar Lions Club.  This years tag is redesigned from the past so be on the look-out for the new styling! (see picture below).

Every year the Vassar community provides our Lions Club overwhelming financial support during the annual White Cane Days week and we are very Thankful for that support.
